GOOLE TRIATHLON EVENT on SUNDAY 19th AUG 2012 PDF Print E-mail

The 2012 Goole Triathlon takes place on Sunday August 19th.This year's event involves a 600m swim in the River Derwent, a 15.5km bike ride from Loftsome Bridge to transition point 3 at Westfield Banks Sports Complex followed by a 5km run along the river bank.

Registration is between 8.30-9.30am at Westfield Banks Sports Complex, and the event begins at Loftsome Bridge at 9.45am, finishing back at Westfield Banks Sports Complex with a presentation for competitors.

The Junior Duathlon is due to be run within the grounds of Westfield Banks Sports Complex, starting at 12.30pm.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it for an entry form or pick one up at any of the following venues - Westfield Banks Sports Complex, Arthur Read Jewellers and Butterfly Dance Studios.  All participants will receive a T-shirt, medal and goody bag.

Registered members can download the entry form and course map from this site.
You must log in to do so.
The event will be concluded with a a family fun day afterwards at Westfield Banks Sports Complex.It is also intended to hold a Junior Duathlon after the adult Triathlon - watch this space for confirmed details.

The closing date for entries is August 1. Competitors must wear a wet suit and cycle helmet.
